Heath Clarkston

Heath Clarkston has more than two decades working for a variety of clients as a registered lobbyist in Missouri. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Public Administration and Political Science in 1997 from Missouri State University in Springfield. He began his career as a legislative intern for the Taxpayers Research Institute, a division of Associated Industries of Missouri. After joining Gallagher Consultants Inc. in 2006, Heath quickly earned a reputation as a tenacious, hard-working voice in the State Capitol for his clients. In 2018, Heath was one of the founding partners in Lathrop Gage Consulting, to which he worked with the firm to substantially grow their client base and achieve major success. In 2023, Heath decided to leave Lathrop to form Clarkston Nelson LLC with his colleague Doug Nelson. As a partner at Clarkston Nelson, he constantly keeps his focus on the issues and needs of their diverse base of clients. At Clarkston Nelson, Heath oversees the daily operations; maintains regular communication with clients and remains a constant fixture in the halls of the state capitol building.

An active member in many civic and professional organizations, Heath has received several awards for his personal and professional efforts.
