Kim Akin

Kim Akin has worked in the legislative consulting industry for ten years. Her responsibilities include an assortment of activities, ranging from covering legislative hearings in the Missouri State Capitol to planning legislative visits and providing association management for clients. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting in 2010 from Lincoln University and her Master of Business Administration degree from William Woods University in 2013. Kim performs an essential function on the Clarkston Nelson team with her extensive experience in complying with Missouri’s state ethics laws affecting political action committees, lobbyists and principals. With her background in accounting and in business administration, Kim manages the business aspect of Clarkston Nelson and works with team members to help take care of clients’ needs efficiently and effectively.
